Who Are We?
We are Team 3674 CloverBots, part of the PNW District of FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC). FIRST is a global non-profit organization, which stands for For the Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology. One of just five FRC teams in SW Washington, we strive for accessibility for all students, sustainability in our team and resources, and ingenuity in our design philosophy and engineering capability.
What Do We Do?
As an FRC team, we brainstorm, design, prototype, build, and program (roughly) 26” x 26” x 3-4.5’ large robots to compete on volleyball court-sized fields. Teams have just six weeks from Kickoff until their first competition, with the competition season being eight weeks long.
Why Do We Matter?
FIRST is More Than Robots®. Yes, we build robots; more importantly, we build futures. FRC encompasses a wide range of skill sets, from mechanical & software engineering to marketing, videography & photography, public speaking, leadership, communication, cooperation, and CAD & design skills.
